North America release & Exclusive solo shows - 15/03 2010

This spring, Ane’s early albums Spending Time With Morgan, Duets and Live In Scandinavia will be released digitally in North America. They will be available through Amazon from April 27 and via diverse online music stores from May 4.

To celebrate the releases Ane will be playing two exclusive solo concerts in Los Angeles and New York!

Cancelled tour dates in France. - 10/03 2010

Due to Ane joining Peter Gabriel on tour we have to announce the following changes to the upcoming French tour dates.

Regrettably the concerts in Nantes and Feyzin are cancelled and the concerts in Meylan, Marseille and Hyeres have been rescheduled to September. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

The concerts in Rennes and Roubaix are not affected and will take place as originally planned.

A Paris date has been added in September.

Cancelled Tour Dates:

Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Rescheduled Tour Dates:

Tickets already purchased for concerts in Meylan and Marseille that have been rescheduled will still be valid for the new dates – they do not need to be exchanged.

People who have already purchased tickets but are unable to attend the rescheduled concert on the new date can return their ticket for a full refund.

For the concert in Hyeres refunds will be available at point of purchase, the rescheduled show will be with free entrance.

Ane Brun & Peter Gabriel! - 5/03 2010

Ane is going on tour this spring with Peter Gabriel in Europe, Canada and the US! She has been invited to join Peter Gabriel’s band as a singer on his “New Blood Tour”. Together with a large orchestra, Peter Gabriel will perform his new album “Skratch my back” and also a set of classic Peter Gabriel songs in an orchestral setting.

Peter Gabriel discovered Ane Brun when they both performed at the Nelson Mandela “46664” concert in Tromsø, Norway, in 2005.

Ane, on tour in Spain at the moment, says:
“I’m very honoured to go on tour with Peter Gabriel. I’ve listened to his music ever since I was ten years old and borrowed my older brother’s “So” album. Many of his songs are absolute favorites of mine! I deeply respect him as a songwriter, musician and also his engagement in societal and human rights issues.”

Ane Brun plays Modern Fantazias - 15/02 2010

Ane Brun with chamber orchestra will play two exclusive shows at Södra Teatern, Sthlm, on the 9th-10th of April. The performance will include music by Ane Brun, Henry Purcell, Monteverdi, John Cage. Arranged and directed by Hans Ek.

European re-release of Ane Brun's albums - 15/02 2010

Ane’s backing catalogue is beeing re-released on CD in Europe this spring. This includes Spending Time With Morgan, A Temporary Dive, Duets, Live in Scandinavia, Sketches_ and Live at Stockholm Concert Hall.

Ane’s debut album Spending Time With Morgan has been analogue remastered, and A Temporary Dive includes new artwork and a bonus track by Ane called Half Open Door. These albums will be out on cd in France on the 15th of March and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the 16th of April.
